Ponder one verse
Still waters

To ponder is to read slowly enough to hear.
Take one verse, and stay with it.
From Psalm twenty-three.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Read only this part again: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Picture the water.
What in your life feels still today?
What does not?
He leads.
You do not have to find the water alone.
Ask the Lord where He is leading you this week, then stay quiet for a while and listen.
Amen.
