Gratitude changes what we see.
Let us look again.
From First Thessalonians, chapter five.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Name three things you are thankful for.
Make one of them small.
From Psalm one hundred.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
From the Book of Mormon, Alma chapter thirty-four.
That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost,
but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ;
that ye humble yourselves even to the dust,
and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth;
and that ye live in thanksgiving daily,
for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you.
Thank your Heavenly Father for each thing you named, and ask for nothing else in this prayer.
Amen.
