Family Home Evening

Gather everyone. Put the phones away for a little while.

Open with a song. Sing a hymn or a Primary song together, or play one from Listen.

Ask someone to say the opening prayer.

Matthew 5:14-16

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Talk about it: what is one way each of us could be a light this week?

Mosiah 2:17

And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

Plan one small act of service you can do together before next week.

Play a game, share a treat, or tell a family story.
